Job summary

Richmond University Medical Center in New York seeks a Healthcare IT Analyst to optimize clinical and operational workflows, gather clinician requirements, and support critical healthcare applications. You will serve as a liaison between end users, IT, and software vendors, investigate issues, and create reports and dashboards using SQL, Power BI, and Excel.

  • Serve as liaison between end users, IT, and software vendors
  • Investigate system issues and coordinate resolutions
  • Create reports, dashboards, and data extracts (SQL, Power BI, Excel)
  • Manage system upgrades, testing, and implementation projects
  • Develop and deliver user training
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, cybersecurity, and healthcare regulations
  • Document workflows, system configurations, and support procedures

Core Responsibilities
  • Analyze and improve clinical and operational workflows
  • Gather requirements from clinicians, department leaders, and business users
  • Configure, support, and troubleshoot healthcare applications (Meditech, Epic, Athena, Cerner, PACS, etc.)
  • Serve as liaison between end users, IT, and software vendors
  • Investigate system issues and coordinate resolutions

  • Manage system upgrades, testing, and implementation projects
  • Develop and deliver user training
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, cybersecurity, and healthcare regulations

Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000
