SimVentions, Inc. seeks a System Administrator to design and operate Windows and Linux engineering solutions inside a government software hosting facility.

This full-time, on-site role is based at the NAVAIR base in Pax River, MD and emphasizes security, reliability, and DoD-aligned practices. The position is future funded (start after Sep 1, 2026) and requires an active Secret clearance with potential upgrade to Top Secret.

Qualifications

At least three years experience in system administration roles.
Experience with RMF, STIG and ACAS scanning.
Certification in Windows or Linux environments.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering solutions for government hosting environments.
Deploy and maintain physical and virtual hardware, VMs and containers.
Perform maintenance, configuration changes, and troubleshooting.
Manage backups, disaster recovery, accounts and access.
Deploy software applications and provide customer support.
Maintain system documentation and security posture per DoD guidance.
Participate in Agile planning and provide on-prem networking support.
