Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a System Administrator to design and implement Windows- and Linux-based solutions within a government hosting facility.

This on-site role at the NAVAIR base in Pax River, MD requires active clearance eligibility and a strong background in RMF and STIG processes. You will deploy and manage hardware, VMs, containers, and applications, while maintaining backups, disaster recovery, and secure configurations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of hands-on systems administration experience.
• Experience with RMF compliance, STIGs, and ACAS scanning.
• Certification in Windows or Linux operating environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering solutions for government software hosting facilities.
• Deploy and maintain hardware infrastructure, including VMs and containers.
• Perform routine maintenance and configuration changes on physical and virtual hosts.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot servers, workstations, and IT equipment.
• Maintain system backups and disaster recovery plans.
• Manage user accounts and permissions.
