Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking an enterprising System Administrator to develop and implement Windows- and Linux-based engineering solutions for a government software hosting facility.

This on-site role is based at the NAVAIR base in Pax River, MD, and requires an active Secret clearance with potential for Top Secret eligibility. The role demands three years of relevant experience, RMF/ACAS/STIG familiarity, and a Windows or Linux certification.

Qualifications

• At least three years of relevant experience.
• Experience with RMF compliance, STIG and ACAS scanning.
• Certification in Windows or Linux operating environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering solutions for government hosting facilities.
• Deploy and maintain physical/virtual hardware, VMs and containers.
• Perform maintenance and configuration on servers/workstations/IT equipment.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot hardware and software on servers.
• Maintain backups and disaster recovery plans.
• Manage user accounts and permissions.
• Deploy and maintain software applications.
• Troubleshoot technical issues.
• Maintain documentation and knowledge base.
