Agility Partners’ Stores Platform Engineering team maintains store hardware and software to ensure reliable operations worldwide. This role focuses on designing, administering, and deploying technology solutions for in-store environments, with emphasis on Android MDM and mobile devices.

You will troubleshoot issues, collaborate with stores, vendors, and internal teams, and use scripting/automation to improve performance and uptime of our store technology infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in IT, preferably in a retail technology environment.
  • Experience providing technical support to remote users.
  • Ability to think critically and react effectively in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Excellent personal time management to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with mobile device management, specifically Android devices.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with implementing and administering store hardware and software, including POS systems and mobile devices.
  • Provide support for issues encountered with store technology.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction by addressing issues promptly with store associates.
  • Use reporting tools, scripting, and automation to streamline workflows and improve system performance.
  • Collaborate with partners to resolve MDM migration and Android device configuration issues.
  • Support store technology projects and participate in requirements gathering.

Job description

The Stores Platform Engineering team is responsible for administering store hardware and software to support efficient and seamless operations in our stores. As a member of the team, you will play a crucial role in the design, administration, and deployment of store technology solutions. This role requires strong overall technical aptitude, practical experience, familiarity with mobile device management, particularly Android devices. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks including store technology administration, mobile device management, software deployment, payment systems support, and traffic systems support. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will work closely with stores, vendors, and internal teams to troubleshoot issues, support technology initiatives, and maintain operational reliability. Your contributions will directly impact the quality and uptime of our stores technology infrastructure worldwide.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with implementing and administering store hardware and software solutions, including POS systems, peripherals, and mobile devices.
  • Provide support for issues encountered with store technology.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing issues in a timely and efficient manner, often interfacing directly with store associates.
  • Utilize reporting tools, scripting languages, and automation techniques to streamline workflows, enhance system performance, and reduce manual effort.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external business partners to understand and troubleshoot technology issues related to MDM migration and Android device configuration.
  • Provide technical assistance for store technology projects. Collaborate with project teams to define requirements, assess feasibility, and contribute to the successful implementation of technology initiatives.
Qualifications:
