Green Key Resources is partnering with a major organization to drive a large-scale enterprise mobility initiative. We seek a Technical Deployment Lead to oversee device deployment operations, provide technical leadership, and ensure a seamless end-user experience throughout the project lifecycle.

Job description

We are partnering with an organization undertaking a large-scale enterprise mobility initiative and are seeking a Technical Deployment Lead to oversee device deployment operations, provide technical leadership, and ensure a seamless end-user experience throughout the project lifecycle.

This role combines hands-on technical support with team leadership responsibilities and is ideal for someone who has successfully led field deployment teams, managed enterprise mobile rollouts, and thrives in fast-paced project environments. The position offers the opportunity to play a key role in a high-visibility technology transformation initiative.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate daily activities for deployment technicians across multiple project locations.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for technical and operational deployment issues.
  • Provide mentorship, direction, and support to field teams.
  • Ensure compliance with deployment procedures, quality standards, and project expectations.
  • Manage resource assignments and coordinate deployment schedules to maintain project timelines.
  • Perform enterprise mobile device deployments, replacements, and user migrations.
  • Configure and enroll devices using Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms.
  • Validate device setup, application functionality, access permissions, and connectivity.
  • Support carrier activations, mobile provisioning, and number porting activities.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, authentication, and application-related issues.
  • Conduct device testing and quality assurance prior to deployment completion.
End-User Support
  • Deliver professional device handoff and onboarding sessions.
  • Assist users with setup, navigation, and adoption of new devices and applications.
  • Resolve deployment-related issues and elevate complex incidents when appropriate.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout all user interactions.
Asset & Project Management
  • Track deployment inventory, equipment allocation, and device lifecycle activities.
  • Maintain accurate records including serial numbers, asset assignments, and deployment documentation.
  • Prepare daily status updates and deployment progress reports.
  • Ensure inventory controls and equipment accountability are maintained.
  • Communicate project risks, milestones, and issues to leadership teams.
Stakeholder Coordination
  • Partner with business stakeholders, project managers, and site contacts to ensure successful deployment execution.
  • Coordinate onsite activities and support project objectives across multiple locations.
  • Assist with scheduling and operational planning as deployment demands evolve.
Qualifications
Required
  • 3+ years of experience leading technical deployment teams within enterprise environments.
  • Experience overseeing end-user technology rollouts, hardware refreshes, or mobility initiatives.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills supporting mobile devices and end-user computing technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with MDM platforms such as Intune, Workspace ONE, MobileIron, AirWatch, or similar solutions.
  • Experience with mobile device provisioning, carrier activations, and migration activities.
  • Knowledge of asset management, inventory controls, and deployment documentation.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to operate independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Customer-focused mindset with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to support varying schedules based on project requirements.
Preferred
  • Experience supporting large-scale device refresh or mobility transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Apple iOS and Android platforms in enterprise environments.
  • Background supporting large corporate, healthcare, education, transportation, or government organizations.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems, project tracking platforms, and service management tools.
  • Previous experience in customer-facing field services or technical implementation environments.
