Job summary

UMB Bank seeks an experienced Portfolio Manager – Syndications to support the growth of its Syndications platform. You will work with the Manager of Loan Syndications and the Transaction Manager to structure and manage syndicated deals, coordinating with internal and external partners to move transactions forward.

The role emphasizes credit analysis, strong communication, and relationship-building. You will prepare materials, review loan documentation, and assist with closings within a hybrid

Qualifications

Five years of Commercial credit analysis experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally
Proven teamwork with cross-functional project teams
Ability to work independently and resourcefully

Responsibilities

Prepare marketing materials for syndicated deals (credit analysis required)
Assist with structuring syndicated transactions
Manage portfolio of existing syndicated deals; handle waivers and amendments
Coordinate with external bank partners and respond to inquiries
Review loan documentation for syndicated transactions
Coordinate closings and ongoing draws for syndicated deals
Create a database of UMB-Agented deals with maturities and reporting items
Maintain contact management on Debticate and support calling efforts
