Job summary

UMB is seeking a Portfolio Manager – Syndications in a hybrid environment with Salt Lake City roots and collaboration across multiple markets. You will support the growth of our Syndications platform by assisting with deal structuring, credit analysis and ongoing management of syndicated deals.

You will interact with internal teams and external bank partners, prepare marketing materials, review loan docs, and maintain reporting and databases to ensure timely closings and accurate maturities.

Qualifications

• Five years of commercial credit analysis experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
• Persuasive and concise written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare marketing materials for syndicated deals (requires credit analysis).
• Assist with structuring syndicated transactions.
• Manage portfolio of existing syndicated deals, including waivers, consents and amendments.
• Help manage deal-related inquiries from external bank partners.
• Review and advise on loan documentation for syndicated transactions.
• Coordinate with Loan Administration for closings and draws on syndicated deals.
• Create a database of all UMB-Agented deals with ticklers for maturities and reporting items.
• Process and resolve inquiries from external bank partners on existing syndicated deals.
• Maintain contact management on Debticate for syndicated deals and assist with calling efforts.
• Manage collection of reporting items for syndicated deals from internal deal teams and posting to Debticate.
• Engage with UMB Relationship Managers and other internal parties as it relates to syndicated transactions.
• Assist with internal reporting, education and market updates.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
