Job summary

BMG Sync Licensing is seeking a detail-oriented Licensing Administrator to support the preparation, issuance and closure of sync licenses across visual media. You will handle data accuracy, payments, and documentation in a fast-paced team.

The role involves coordination with Finance, Legal and Clearance teams, and requires strong communication skills and knowledge of copyright laws. This is a hybrid position based in New York with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in synchronization licensing field.
• Knowledge of the license issuance process and ability to negotiate revision requests.
• General knowledge of copyright laws and/or local societies.
• Existing network/relationships with local sync clients.
• Great communication skills with ability to manage information upward and outward.
• Organized and proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy of sync license data and prepare license entries for issuance.
• Follow up on license fee payments and handle vendor forms/POs to receive payments.
• Obtain fully-executed licenses and close entries with accessible documentation.
• Support sync data maintenance, invoicing, and income tracking as needed.
• Liaise with Finance, Legal, and Clearance teams to ensure language alignment and templates.
