Eaton’s Commercial Products and Assemblies group is seeking a Product Line Manager – Switching Devices (Safety Switch). Based in Charlotte, NC, you will lead the switching devices line with over $300M revenue, shaping long and short-term plans in collaboration with multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or Marketing from an accredited institution.
• Extensive product knowledge in Power Distribution (Electrical Distribution Products).
• Track record coordinating R&D and related business processes.
• Experience partnering with multiple businesses, including C-suite, on go-to-market strategies.
• 5+ years of team leadership in power distribution.
• 5+ years in product marketing or outside sales; channel networks experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise on engineering tech, market conditions, and marketing strategies for long-term planning.
• Direct and oversee new product development and market introduction to meet specs.
• Define and manage product marketing and sales plans aligned with company objectives.
• Coordinate communications with customers on product characteristics, delivery, and service.
• Establish customer service standards for lead times, drawings, and claims.
• Prepare quotations, bids, and related negotiation documentation.
• Analyze pricing and adjust proposals in response to market changes.
• Negotiate final product prices with customers through field sales.
• Work cross-functionally to respond to installation and operational needs.
• Plan and manage R&D for the product line and lead the team within budget.
