Job summary

Eaton Corporation seeks a Product Line Manager – Switching Devices (Safety Switch) based in Charlotte, NC or Cleveland, TN. You will lead the Switching Devices product line, coordinating with multiple facilities and driving short- and long-term strategic plans to grow revenue beyond $300M.

The role requires strong cross-functional leadership, deep Power Distribution knowledge, and experience with pricing, quotations, and market strategies. Relocation assistance is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or Marketing from an accredited institution.
• Extensive product and application knowledge in Power Distribution.
• Experience coordinating R&D-related business processes and planning.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with varied levels including C-suite.
• 5+ years leadership in business development in power distribution.
• 5+ years experience in product marketing and/or outside sales with channel networks

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise on product engineering technologies, market conditions, and sales strategies.
• Direct and oversee new product development and market introduction.
• Define, implement, and manage product marketing and strategic sales plans.
• Coordinate communications with customers on product characteristics, quality, delivery.
• Plan and manage the R&D process for the product line within budget.
• Negotiate final product prices with customers through field sales personnel.
