Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division seeks a SWBD - Wiring Coordinator for 1st shift in Sumter, SC. Hours are 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday–Thursday, with a general pay rate of 23.92 USD per hour plus a variable incentive. Salaries reflect skills and market factors.

The role supports safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity goals. You will lead with teamwork, ensure material flow and on-time shipments, and cover for leadership when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing or materials processing experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• No relocation benefit; within 50 miles of location.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate material for designated area and adjacent areas to meet ship dates.
• Review order status with manufacturing supervisors, material control, and KanBan expeditors.
• Review orders and documentation to ensure information completeness and assist with troubleshooting.
• Use computers (Excel, DMM, AS400) to maintain floor stock and records.
• Promote a safe, inclusive work culture and escalate issues as needed.
• Process surplus, rejected, and defective material per procedures.
• Identify missing/incorrect items and solve related issues.
• Attend Tier meetings and monitor required systems (DMM, Enovia, AS400).
• Review production tasks and track Kanban lists and related sheets.
• Serve as back-up Team Lead when required.
