Pape’ Kenworth is seeking a Journeyman Truck Technician / Mechanic for the day shift to join our team in the Pacific Northwest. You will work on medium and heavy-duty class 7 & 8 trucks, performing repairs to keep our customers’ vehicles on the road and on time.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working on medium and heavy-duty class 7/8 trucks, including engine repair and diagnostics.
• Experience with engine repair, electronic trouble-shooting, HVAC and chassis systems.
• Cummins MX software experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heavy-/medium-duty trucks to return to service quickly.
• Analyze and diagnose truck malfunctions, determining best corrective action.
• Repair or rebuild engines, transmissions, axles, brakes, and electrical or air systems.
• Maintain and service trucks to minimize downtime and extend vehicle life.
