Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Assembly Technician for a client in the Meridian, ID area. The role involves hands-on building of equipment from components to finished systems within a safety-focused Production environment.

You will assemble mechanical, plumbing, and electrical components, read blueprints and diagrams, and use shop floor software to track labor and material usage. Swing shift with a $2/hour differential offers competitive pay and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ability to read assembly blueprints, technical drawings, plumbing schematics, and electrical diagrams.
• Experience in industrial or commercial plumbing.
• Ability to assemble and install mechanical components such as pumps, flowmeters, manifolds, motors, drives, and controllers.
• Comfort working with hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and basic testing devices.
• Ability to use process pipe-welding equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical, plumbing, and electrical components using engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
• Use a PC and shop floor control software to track labor and material usage.
• Troubleshoot equipment and components during assembly and start-up to ensure quality performance.
• Use measuring tools, hand tools, and testing equipment while following quality and safety procedures.
• Complete final assembly and system integration while maintaining a clean, organized and safe work environment.
