Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Assembly Technician for our client in Meridian, ID to join the Production department. You will assemble mechanical, plumbing, and electrical components from engineering drawings, track labor with shop floor software, and ensure quality during start-up and testing.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and hands-on, comfortable with hand and power tools, and capable of interpreting blueprints and schematics to build systems from components.

Qualifications

• Read assembly blueprints, technical drawings, plumbing schematics, and electrical diagrams.
• Experience in industrial or commercial plumbing.
• Able to assemble and install mechanical components such as pumps, flowmeters, manifolds, motors, drives, and controllers.
• Comfort using hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and basic testing devices.
• Experience using process pipe-welding equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical, plumbing, and electrical components using drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
• Use a Personal Computer and shop floor control software to track labor and material usage.
• Troubleshoot equipment and components during assembly and start-up to ensure quality performance.
• Use measuring tools, hand tools, and testing equipment while following established quality and safety procedures.
• Complete final assembly and system integration while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
