Job summary

ManpowerGroup is recruiting on behalf of a manufacturing client for an Assembly Technician in Meridian, ID. You will assemble mechanical, plumbing, and electrical components from drawings and specs, and track labor and material usage using shop floor software.

You should be comfortable reading blueprints, performing precise measurements, and using hand and power tools. The role offers swing shift with hourly pay of $20–$24 plus a $2 swing differential, with opportunities to develop mechanical

Qualifications

• Read assembly blueprints, technical drawings, plumbing schematics, and electrical diagrams.
• Experience in industrial or commercial plumbing.
• Assemble and install mechanical components such as pumps, flowmeters, manifolds, motors, drives, and controllers.
• Comfort working with hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and basic testing devices.
• Use process pipe-welding equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical, plumbing, and electrical components using engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
• Use a Personal Computer and shop floor control software to accurately track labor and material usage.
• Troubleshoot equipment and components during assembly and start-up to ensure quality performance.
• Use measuring tools, hand tools, and testing equipment while following established quality and safety procedures.
• Complete final assembly and system integration while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
