Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Assembly Technician on behalf of a client in Meridian, ID. You will support the Production department by building equipment from components to finished systems in a safety-focused environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on mechanical assembly, reading blueprints, and using a variety of tools. The swing shift offers differential pay and opportunities for skill growth and advancement.

Qualifications

• Read assembly blueprints, technical drawings, plumbing schematics and electrical diagrams.
• Experience in industrial or commercial plumbing.
• Assemble mechanical components such as pumps, flowmeters, manifolds, motors, drives and controllers.
• Comfort with hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment and basic testing devices.
• Ability to use process pipe-welding equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical, plumbing and electrical components using drawings and specifications.
• Track labor and material usage with shop floor software and PC.
• Troubleshoot equipment during assembly and start-up for quality.
• Maintain clean, organized and safe work environment during assembly.
• Complete final assembly and system integration.
