Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Assembly Technician for Meridian, ID to join the Production team. You will assemble mechanical, plumbing, and electrical components from drawings, track labor and material usage, and troubleshoot during start-up to ensure quality and safety.

This hands-on role offers a swing shift with pay of $20–$24 per hour plus a $2 swing differential, with opportunities to grow skills in mechanical and electrical assembly.

Qualifications

• Read assembly blueprints, technical drawings, plumbing schematics, and electrical diagrams.
• Experience in industrial or commercial plumbing.
• Able to assemble and install mechanical components such as pumps, flowmeters, manifolds, motors, drives, and controllers.
• Comfort working with hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and basic testing devices.
• Ability to use process pipe-welding equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical, plumbing, and electrical components using drawings and specs.
• Use PC and shop floor software to track labor and material usage.
• Troubleshoot equipment during assembly and start-up to ensure quality.
• Use measuring tools, hand tools, and testing devices following safety procedures.
• Complete final assembly and system integration in a clean, safe environment.
