Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Assembly Technician in Meridian, ID to join the Production department. You will build equipment from components to finished systems in a safety-focused environment, using drawings and specs and tracking labor on the shop floor.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and eager to work hands-on with mechanical, plumbing, and electrical assemblies, and to grow skills in troubleshooting and assembly processes.

Qualifications

• Ability to read assembly blueprints, technical drawings, plumbing schematics, and electrical diagrams.
• Experience in industrial or commercial plumbing.
• Ability to assemble and install mechanical components such as pumps, flowmeters, manifolds, motors, drives, and controllers.
• Comfort working with hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and basic testing devices.
• Ability to use process pipe-welding equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical, plumbing, and electrical components using drawings and specifications.
• Use a PC and shop floor control software to track labor and material usage.
• Troubleshoot equipment and components during assembly and start-up to ensure quality performance.
• Use measuring tools, hand tools, and testing equipment while following established quality and safety procedures.
• Complete final assembly and system integration while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
