Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Assembly Technician in Meridian, ID to join the Production department. You will assemble mechanical, plumbing, and electrical components from drawings and specifications, and use shop floor software to track labor and materials.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and able to troubleshoot during assembly and start-up, while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Swing shift offers a $2 differential and opportunities for hands-on growth.

Qualifications

Ability to read assembly blueprints and technical drawings.
Experience in industrial or commercial plumbing is preferred.
Ability to assemble mechanical components such as pumps, flowmeters, manifolds, motors, drives, and controllers.
Comfort with hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment and basic testing devices.

Responsibilities

Assemble mechanical, plumbing and electrical components from drawings and specs.
Use shop floor software to track labor and materials.
Troubleshoot equipment during assembly and start-up for quality.
Maintain a clean, organized, safe work environment.
