Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Assembly Technician for a manufacturing client in Meridian, Idaho. You will be part of the Production department, assembling mechanical, plumbing, and electrical components from drawings to a finished system, while ensuring quality and safety standards.

The role requires mechanical aptitude and attention to detail, with hands-on assembly, troubleshooting, and use of shop floor software. Swing shift provides a pay differential and competitive hourly wages.

Qualifications

• Ability to read assembly blueprints, technical drawings, plumbing schematics, and electrical diagrams.
• Experience in industrial or commercial plumbing.
• Ability to assemble and install mechanical components such as pumps, flowmeters, manifolds, motors, drives, and controllers.
• Comfort working with hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and basic testing devices.
• Ability to use process pipe-welding equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical, plumbing, and electrical components using engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
• Use a Personal Computer and shop floor control software to accurately track labor and material usage.
• Troubleshoot equipment and components during assembly and start-up to ensure quality performance.
• Use measuring tools, hand tools, and testing equipment while following established quality and safety procedures.
• Complete final assembly and system integration while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
