Job summary

Foster Farms in Kelso, WA is seeking team members for production line roles. The position offers starting pay of $19.00 per hour with shift premiums of $0.50 for 4pm- midnight and $1.00 for midnight-8am, plus a longevity premium of $0.25 after one year and an attendance premium of $0.25.

Qualifications

• Report regularly and on time to work and be present for required hours, including overtime and weekends.
• Follow established GMPs and all food safety procedures.
• Work safely and model good safety habits.
• Able to use small hand-held tools (knives, scissors).
• Bend, climb, stoop and stand as required by tasks.
• Repetitive grasping, reaching, lifting 3–5 lbs and 10–80 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Use small hand-held tools to cut chicken into segments for product run.
• Pack product into foam trays and/or plastic bags.
• Place labels and arrange on trays filled with chicken parts.
• Rotate through various positions on production areas during shift.
• Visually inspect and grade chicken parts for production lines.
• Work in cold or hot environments depending on area.
• Communicate with supervision and co-workers for task guidance and issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
