Job summary

Foster Farms is hiring for production team members in the United States. The role pays from $19.00 per hour with shift premiums of $0.50 (4pm–midnight) and $1.00 (midnight–8am). Additional longevity and attendance premiums apply.

Qualifications

• Must report on time and work all required hours, including overtime and weekends as scheduled.
• Understand and follow established rules and procedures and accept feedback.
• Work safely and set an example of good working habits.
• Follow GMPs and all Food Safety procedures.
• Work effectively with small hand-held tools (knives, scissors).
• Bend, climb, stoop, and stand as necessary.
• Lift between 3-5 lbs repeatedly, and 10-80 lbs when moving or lifting.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Use small hand-held tools to cut chicken into segments for product run.
• Pack product into foam trays and/or plastic bags.
• Place labels and arrange on trays filled with chicken parts.
• Perform repetitive grasping, pushing, and pulling motions while packing, cutting, and grading.
• Rotate through various positions on production areas during the shift.
• Place empty trays and pads on the line.
• Visually inspect and grade chicken parts for production lines.
• Work in cold or hot environments depending on area.
• Communicate with supervision, leads, and co-workers for task updates and issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
