Job summary

Foster Farms is seeking a dedicated Team Member in Kelso, WA to perform sanitation tasks in a food production facility, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to USDA standards. The role requires lifting up to 80 pounds, standing for long periods, and safet y-conscious behavior, with overtime and weekend hours as needed.

We offer competitive pay starting at $19.00 per hour with shift premiums and a longevity/attendance bonus.

Qualifications

• Regular attendance and ability to work required hours, including overtime and weekends.
• Ability to obtain pallet jack certification.
• Physically capable to lift and carry up to 80 pounds.
• Stand on concrete or metal surfaces for prolonged periods.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Sanitation of facility interiors and exteriors on a nightly basis, adhering to safety and attendance policies.
• Operate pallet jack and clean equipment using safe chemical application and hot water as directed by supervision.
• Ensure production readiness by sanitizing areas per Quality Control and USDA standards.
• Keep non-production areas clean and orderly, including breakrooms, bathrooms, parking lot and related spaces.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision and/or leads and suggest process improvements.
