Job summary

Foster Farms in Kelso, WA is hiring Team Members for our production lines. The role involves cutting chicken into segments, packing, labeling, and ensuring quality on a fast-paced line.

Qualifications

• Must report regularly and on time to work and meet schedule requirements.
• Follow established rules and procedures and accept constructive feedback.
• Work safely and promote safe working habits.
• Follow GMPs and all Food Safety procedures.
• Able to use small hand-held tools (knives, scissors) as required.
• Bend, climb, stoop and stand for extended periods as needed.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Use small hand-held tools to cut chicken into segments for production.
• Pack product into foam trays and/or plastic bags.
• Place labels and arrange on trays with chicken parts.
• Perform repetitive grasping, pushing and pulling motions on the line.
• Rotate through positions on production areas during the shift.
• Inspect and grade chicken parts for production.
• Work in cold or hot environments depending on area.
• Communicate with supervision and teammates regarding tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
