Job summary

Goldfish Swim School Needham is seeking a Part-Time Swim Instructor to teach children from 4 months to 12 years using a play-based curriculum. You’ll foster a safe, fun learning space and clearly communicate progress to families.

Paid training is provided; Lifeguard certification is required while employed and courses are available within 90 days. Opportunities for advancement and growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Strong communication skills and reliability.
• Swim instruction, lifeguard, structured childcare, or teaching experience preferred (1-3 years).
• Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred (training provided if not yet certified).

Responsibilities

• Teach swim lessons to children ages 4 months -12 years old using Goldfish's proven, play based curriculum.
• Create a safe and positive learning environment.
• Communicate clearly with families about swimmer's progress.
• Maintain pool safety.
• Be a supportive, professional teammate on and off the pool deck.

Join the Goldfish Swim School - Needham Crew! Job Type: Part-Time Pay: $17 - $19 per hour Hours Required: Minimum of 2 shifts/week (shift length ranging from 3-6 hrs/day)
