Job summary

SafeSplash in New York seeks a capable Supervisor to oversee daily swim school operations. You will manage staff, ensure safety, and enhance the customer experience while collaborating with the General Manager.

This on-site role offers flexible hours, paid training, and a pathway to growth within a community-focused aquatic program. Candidates should be ready to lead, communicate effectively, and support local marketing efforts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience in aquatics or education.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable around water and interacting with children and parents.
• Must lift 30 lbs. and stand for long periods.
• CPR, First Aid, AED certifications due within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily swim school operations and support staff.
• Assist in deck management, front desk duties, and class scheduling.
• Ensure facility cleanliness, safety, and adherence to standards.
• Promote a safety culture and enforce safety protocols.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and staff training.
• Coordinate staff scheduling and communicate changes to customers.
• Lead instructors and lifeguards to deliver high-quality lessons.
• Support local marketing and community relations initiatives.
• Ensure exceptional customer experience and manage inquiries.
• Work on-site and report to General Manager/Assistant Manager.
