Job summary

SafeSplash in Melville, NY seeks a dedicated Supervisor to oversee daily swim school operations and ensure a safe, engaging environment for students and families. You will report to the General Manager and help manage staff, customer experience, facilities, and local marketing while upholding brand standards.

The role involves assisting in instruction, deck management, and front desk duties, opening/closing the facility, and coaching staff to deliver high-quality lessons.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; some college coursework welcome.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience in aquatics, education, or related field preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in instructing, deck management and front desk duties to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Deliver swim lessons following the SafeSplash® Brands Curriculum when necessary.
• Act as a point of contact for staff and parents during operating hours to resolve concerns.
• Monitor pool deck activities and provide feedback to enhance lesson quality and safety.
• Open and close the facility, ensuring cleanliness, safety and operational standards.
• Supervise instructors and lifeguards to ensure high-quality lessons and adherence to safety standards.
• Support local marketing and community engagement activities.
