Job summary

SafeSplash is seeking a dedicated Supervisor to oversee daily swim school operations in our Melville location. You will report to the General Manager and help maintain a safe, engaging environment for students, parents, and staff, while supporting operations, training, and customer experience.

Responsibilities include supervising instructors and lifeguards, coordinating scheduling, assisting with local marketing, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; some college coursework preferred.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience in aquatics, education, or related field preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Operations: assist in instructing, deck management and front desk duties to ensure efficient operations.
• Facilities: assist opening/closing and maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
• Safety & risk: promote a safety culture and enforce protocols.
• Hiring & training: assist in interviews, onboarding and staff development.
• Staff scheduling & supervision: manage scheduling and supervise instructors and lifeguards.
• Customer & community: enhance customer experience and local marketing efforts.
