Job summary

SafeSplash + SwimLabs in the Iowa/Waukee area is seeking enthusiastic Lifeguards to supervise pool areas, respond to emergencies, and maintain a clean, safe facility. You will stay vigilant, act quickly, and ensure Red Cross standards are followed, with compensation between $12 and $14 per hour.

Candidates must hold Red Cross Lifeguard and CPR/AED certs; prior swim instruction is a plus. We offer flexible scheduling, uniforms provided, training, and opportunities for advancement as part of our

• Maintain Red Cross Lifeguard certification and CPR/AED
• Previous swim instruction experience preferred
• Must meet all Red Cross prerequisites for lifeguarding

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the pool area; act immediately and appropriately to secure safety in emergencies
• Provide emergency care and treatment until EMS arrival
• Perform duties to maintain a clean and safe facility
• Ensure pool area is supervised according to American Red Cross standards

What will you do as a Lifeguard?

• Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the pool area; act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of customers in the event of an emergency
• Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services
• Perform various duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility
• Make sure the pool area is always properly supervised and attended in accordance to American Red Cross standards

What are we looking for in a Lifeguard?

• Maintain Red Cross Lifeguard certification, Red Cross CPR/AED certification for adult, infant and swimmer
• Previous swim instruction experience is preferredMust be able to successfully complete all lifeguarding prerequisites to American Red Cross standards

Compensation: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
