Zusammenfassung

Greater Philadelphia YMCA is hiring Swim Instructors or Instructor Aides to teach swimming to children. You must be at least 15 years old and pass CPR certification and the in-water skills assessment. Join a team that fosters safety and fun in the YMCA aquatics program.

As part of the aquatics staff, you will provide a safe learning environment, document progress, and communicate with parents while enjoying flexible scheduling and the chance to grow within a nonprofit community organization.

Qualifikationen

• Age 15+
• Experience with kids and passionate about teaching children to swim
• Ability to pass American Red Cross CPR Certification
• Ability to complete and pass our in-water skills assessment

Aufgaben

• Provide a safe environment that allows members and participants to learn to swim
• Encourage and support students to provide an enjoyable aquatics experience
• Evaluate swimming skills; complete progress reports for each session; complete communications for parents
• Participate as a part of the aquatics staff team in providing a safe and enjoyable environment
• Attend staff meetings and trainings as required
