Job summary

FOSS Swim School is seeking part-time Swim Teachers who want more than a short-term job. You’ll teach swimming to kids, build confidence, and promote water safety. Paid training and ongoing support help you grow with the team.

Responsibilities include teaching 1-4 students using the FOSS Swim Path, creating a safe learning environment, and communicating with families. Part-time schedules include weekday evenings and weekend shifts, with opportunities for raises through training and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warm indoor pool.
• Part-time, year-round schedule with minimum 10-12 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Teach swim lessons for 1–4 students using the FOSS Swim Path curriculum.
• Create a safe, engaging learning environment where students build confidence and lifelong water safety skills.
• Build positive relationships with students, families, and teammates through clear communication and collaboration.
• Adapt lessons to individual student needs while maintaining a safe learning environment.
• Bring a positive, reliable, and professional attitude to every lesson.
