Job summary

Goldfish Swim School - Waugh Chapel is hiring year-round, part-time swim instructors with leadership opportunities within 3–6 months. You will teach water safety and proper swim techniques using our curriculum, and communicate progress to parents after each 30-minute lesson.

We offer paid training and a set weekly schedule, perfect for students or a second job. Weekday lessons end by 8:00pm with no late nights, and we provide valuable work experience and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with children.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Lifeguard, CPR & AED certification training will be provided during onboarding and scheduled shifts as lifeguard.

Responsibilities

• Provide swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.
• Educate students on safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents.
• Evaluate students’ progress and complete required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Interact with parents/guardians on student progress and development.
• Maintain pool equipment storage and prepare class materials.
