Goldfish Swim School - Columbia, MD is hiring part-time swim instructors to teach water safety and swim techniques using our curriculum. Instructors may advance to leadership roles within 3–6 months and can grow with the company as part of a year-round schedule.

We offer paid training, a set weekly schedule, and opportunities to gain valuable work experience while helping children achieve their goals in a fun, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with children
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to complete lifeguard, CPR & AED certification class as part of training

Responsibilities

• Provide swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum
• Educate students on safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents
• Evaluate students’ progress and complete required paperwork
• Interact with parents/guardians on the activities and development of students’ swim skills
• Use problem-solving to identify and resolve challenges in lessons
