Job summary

Goldfish Swim School – Fox Chapel is hiring year‑round, part‑time instructors with leadership opportunities within your first 3–6 months. This role supports after‑school or second jobs to help you grow your career.

You will teach water safety and the Goldfish curriculum, communicate progress to parents after each 30‑minute lesson, and complete required paperwork and assessments. Paid training with lifeguard certification is included, plus a set weekly schedule and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with children.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Lifeguard, CPR & AED certification as part of training.

Responsibilities

• Provide swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.
• Educate students on safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents.
• Evaluate students’ progress and complete required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Interact with parents/guardians on activity and development of students’ swim skills.
• Use problem-solving to identify and resolve student challenges.
• Maintain pool equipment and set up/remove lane lines and class materials.
