Job summary

Goldfish Swim School - Fox Chapel seeks motivated individuals to become swim instructors. You will teach water safety and swimming techniques, communicate progress to parents, and contribute to a fun, safe learning environment.

Training is provided, with opportunities to advance into leadership roles as the team expands. The role is part-time, with a schedule that aligns to lesson times and school commitments.

Qualifications

• Must be able to swim and pass a basic swim test.
• Part-time availability according to provided schedule.
• Willing to participate in lifeguard certification training during onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide swim instruction based on Goldfish Swim School curriculum and water safety.
• Evaluate students’ progress and complete required paperwork.
• Interact with parents/guardians about student development.
• Maintain pool equipment and assist with setting up/tearing down lanes.
• Perform lifeguard functions and light cleaning duties as needed.
• Attend occasional workshops and training outside regular hours.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned by employer.
