Job summary

Goldfish Swim School – Fox Chapel is hiring year-round swim lesson instructors to teach water safety and proper swim techniques using our curriculum. This role offers paid training, flexible part-time schedules, and opportunities to advance into leadership roles.

You will work with families, track progress, and help create a safe, engaging learning environment. Must be able to swim, pass a basic test, and be available for the listed hours; competitive wage starts at $17 per hour with growth

Qualifications

• Must be able to swim and pass a 50-yard swim test.
• Participate in in-house lifeguard certification training.

Responsibilities

• Provide swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.
• Evaluate student progress and complete required paperwork.
• Interact with parents/guardians about child development.
• Maintain and store pool equipment and assist with class setup.
• Attend occasional workshops and fulfill other duties as assigned.
