Job summary

Goldfish Swim School - Fox Chapel is hiring year-round swim lesson instructors. You will teach water safety and proper technique based on our curriculum, and communicate progress to parents after each 30-minute lesson.

This role offers paid training, advancement opportunities, and a flexible, part-time schedule that fits around school or another job. We provide uniforms, free swim lessons for children and siblings, and a supportive team culture that values safety, growth and community

Qualifications

• Ability to swim and pass a basic water-safety test.
• Willingness to complete in-house lifeguard certification during training.
• Able to work in a warm, humid pool environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.
• Educate students on water safety and proper technique.
• Evaluate progress and complete required paperwork timely.
• Interact with parents/guardians about student development.
• Maintain pool equipment storage and prep materials for lessons.
• Occasionally perform lifeguard duties and light cleaning.
• Attend workshops and in-service training outside regular hours.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned by employer.
