Job summary

KLA is seeking a field service engineer to install new tools at customer sites and troubleshoot complex equipment across domestic and international locations. You will work with senior engineers to develop and execute installation plans, document progress, and ensure high-quality service delivery.

The role requires travel, the ability to work six days a week, and strong problem-solving skills in software, electronics, and optics.

Qualifications

• ASET minimum degree or equivalent work experience in supporting complex capital equipment for the semiconductor industry is required.
• Proactive installation and service capabilities are essential for customer site projects.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally on short notice may be required.

Responsibilities

• Install new tools at customer sites and follow procedures to achieve consistent results within cycle times.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical equipment problems related to installation.
• Prepare field service reports and daily passdowns on installation progress and non-conformances.
