Job summary

DG Solar Company in New York, NY, seeks a Senior Vice President to lead capital formation, structured finance, investment underwriting and financial planning. Reporting to the CFO, you will craft financing strategies to fund growth across community solar, energy storage and distributed generation assets.

You will build and manage relationships with banks, investors and tax equity partners while guiding underwriting standards and investment committee presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering or related field.
• MBA, CFA, CPA or another advanced degree preferred.
• Significant experience in renewable energy, power, infrastructure or distributed generation.
• Track record of raising and structuring capital for solar, energy storage or comparable assets.
• Direct experience with project debt, tax equity, equity, joint ventures or structured capital.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the capital markets strategy with the CFO, CEO and leadership team.
• Lead capital raising across project, portfolio, asset and corporate financing structures.
• Evaluate and choose financing options including debt, tax equity, and equity solutions.
• Lead negotiations with banks, institutional investors and other capital providers.
• Run financing processes end to end: market engagement, term sheets, diligence, closing and post-closing.
