Vesper Energy seeks a Vice President of Structured Finance & Capital Markets to lead capital formation for utility-scale solar and storage projects. The role owns tax equity, debt, and structured financing, directing underwriting standards, financial modelling governance, and investor relations.

The VP partners with Development, EPC, Asset Management, Legal, and the CFO to align capital strategy with portfolio growth, risk tolerance, and long-term enterprise objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or related field required.
• MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in project finance, tax equity, debt capital markets, investment banking, or infrastructure finance, with at least 7+ years leading complex renewable energy financings.
• Experience leading capital strategy and underwriting governance across a portfolio of energy assets.

Responsabilités

• Lead the development and execution of Vesper’s structured finance strategy to fund development, construction, and long-term ownership of renewable energy assets.
• Own relationships with tax equity investors, lenders, rating agencies, and capital markets counterparties.
• Drive structuring, negotiation, and closing of tax equity, construction debt, term debt, and other financing transactions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with investment banks and institutional investors.
• Evaluate optimal capital structures for projects and the company’s portfolio.
• Oversee financial modelling governance, assumptions, sensitivities, and scenario analysis.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, and development teams to ensure successful closings.
