Job summary

DG Solar Company is seeking a Senior Vice President to lead capital formation, financing strategy and underwriting for a growing portfolio of community solar, distributed generation and energy storage assets in the US.

You will report to the CFO and collaborate with the executive team to fund the company’s next growth phase, manage lender relations and drive capital allocation decisions across complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering or related field.
• Significant experience in renewable energy finance and capital markets.
• Proven ability to lead FP&A, underwriting and investment analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital markets strategy with CFO, CEO and leadership team.
• Coordinate capital raising across project and corporate structures.
• Oversee underwriting standards, risk classifications and investment review processes.
• Build financing strategies balancing cost of capital, liquidity and long‑term value.
• Negotiate with banks, investors, tax equity providers and other capital partners.
