Job summary

Trane Technologies offers a 12-week Summer internship focused on technical sales in North America, providing exposure to the design, application, and sale of HVAC systems, controls, and services. You will work with Sales Account Managers and mentors to build hands-on experience and explore a potential Graduate Training Program after graduation.

Active enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program is required; U.S. work authorization is needed.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree throughout the summer program.
• U.S. citizen or valid right to work in the U.S.
• Passion for learning in technical fields; ability to understand engineering solutions.
• Posting may be remote, hybrid, or onsite at North American facilities.
• Must have a valid driver's license for 12 months and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application and sale of HVAC systems, controls, parts, and services.
• Attend sales meetings, business functions, and customer meetings with mentors.
• Understand the steps sales engineers take from start to finish during the internship.
• Build relationships with customers as a daily point-of-contact in solution-making.
