McGill Environmental Systems seeks a Product Sales Representative to grow sales of compost, mulch, and soil amendments. You will nurture existing relationships while expanding new business in the designated territory through outside sales and consultative solutions.

The role combines field visits, presentations, and collaboration with operations to meet customer needs and ensure product availability, contributing to sustainable soil health and market growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven track record of successful outside sales and business development experience.
• Experience developing sales strategies that drive revenue growth and market expansion.
• Ability to travel regularly and conduct in-person customer visits.
• Experience in agriculture, landscaping, turf, environmental services, manufacturing, construction materials, or related industries preferred.
• Solid computer literacy in Microsoft Office.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, with hands-on CRM experience (Salesforce preferred).
• Comfortable presenting to groups and conducting customer education sessions.
• Strong communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and account management skills.
• Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain relationships with engineers, contractors, landscape companies, turf specialists, agricultural customers, municipalities, retailers, and other industry partners.
• Grow existing accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
• Meet or exceed sales and revenue goals within assigned markets.
• Conduct in-person customer visits and sales presentations.
• Educate customers on compost, mulch, and soil amendment products and applications.
• Collaborate with operations and production teams to support customer needs and product availability.
• Attend trade shows, industry events, and customer functions representing McGill Environmental Systems.
• Assist with promotional materials, product demonstrations, and educational programs.
• Manage accounts, contacts, activities, and opportunities in Salesforce; log interactions and maintain pipeline stages.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and forecasting data.
• Utilize consultative selling techniques to provide customized solutions.
