Qualifications

• Must hold Vermont Early Childhood Career Ladder Level Three (3) Certificate or higher.
• Possess an associate degree in Early Childhood, Child or Human Development, Elementary Education, or Child and Family Services with 12 months experience since working with young children.
• Have at least one qualifying certificate listed ( Apprenticeship, CCV child care, or 21 credits in early childhood).
• Must be at least 20 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement daily lesson plans aligned with developmentally appropriate practice and sustainable education.
• Lead classroom organization and routines, promoting environmental responsibility.
• Supervise children during activities and transitions with a focus on safety and well‑being.
• Engage families through conferences and community learning opportunities.
• Support educator growth and mentor Assistant Teachers in instructional practices.
