Job summary

Babilou Family US is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support a Certified Teacher in a safe, nurturing classroom, with a focus on Sustainable Education. This role emphasizes teamwork and community partnerships to help children grow and thrive.

You will contribute to developmentally appropriate learning experiences across indoor and outdoor spaces, participate in family engagement, and complete required trainings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with young children.
• Knowledge of child development and safety standards.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow lesson plans and support the Certified Teacher.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Certified Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and learning experiences that support whole-child development and sustainability concepts.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and environmentally responsible classroom environment.
• Supervise children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor experiences while ensuring safety.
• Support family engagement and effective communication with families and the Certified Teacher.
• Attend required trainings and maintain certifications related to early childhood education, safety and sustainable practices.
