Job summary

Babilou Family US is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support Certified Teachers and implement meaningful learning experiences in a safe, sustainable classroom. You will help maintain an organized environment and foster respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

The role emphasizes collaboration, sustainability practices in daily routines, and ongoing professional development within our educational approach—Sustainable Education®.

Qualifications

• Must have: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with young children in care/education.
• Knowledge of child development and classroom safety standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow lesson plans and support the Certified Teacher.

Responsibilities

• Assist Certified Teacher with daily lesson plans and learning experiences.
• Maintain organized, eco-conscious classroom and sustainable routines.
• Supervise children and document observations with safety at the forefront.
• Engage families with sustainable communication and coordinate events.
• Attend required trainings and collaborate to enhance curriculum and sustainability initiatives.
