Babilou Family US is seeking a Teacher Associate to create a safe, nurturing learning environment where children explore, learn, and grow. You will design and implement quality curriculum and guide the teaching team toward sustainability-minded practices.

The role emphasizes developmentally appropriate practice, environmental stewardship, and strong partnerships with families. You will supervise children, engage in ongoing professional learning, and contribute to a community of educators

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Vermont ECLC Level 3 or an Associate degree + 12 months experience.
• Apprenticeship certificate or CCV certificate + 12 months experience.
• 21+ ECE credits + 12 months experience.
• State-required teaching certification.

Responsibilities

• Craft a classroom culture rooted in respect and sustainable learning.
• Design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Lead classroom routines and mentor support staff.
• Strengthen family communication and community involvement.
• Support educator growth through ongoing reflection and training.
• Maintain safe, organized environment and monitor safety.
• Lead or participate in family conferences and events.
• Document observations to inform instruction and growth.
