Job summary

Trane Technologies offers a hands-on Construction Project Manager Internship across North America. You will collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and project teams to advance building efficiency projects and gain real-world PM experience.

Participants will develop planning, budgeting, and procurement skills as they assist in project execution under a seasoned Project Manager, with potential pathways to our Graduate Training Program after graduation.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree for the duration of the internship.
• Preferred degree in Construction Engineering, Building Management, Construction Management, HVAC, Engineering, or equivalent.
• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate assigned projects, establish schedules and parameters, milestones, and cost tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering team to support programming and material selection.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining project budgets and forecast accuracy.
• Coordinate RFQs with subcontractors, including scope, milestones, specs, bonding, and billing schedules.
• Review subcontractor proposals and supervise project staff and installers.
• Communicate with contractors, subcontractors and owners on scope, budgets, performance, and close-out.
