Job summary

Trane Technologies invites you to join our 12-week Construction Project Manager Internship across North America. You will work with peers and engineers to plan, schedule, and manage project tasks, budgets, and subcontractors, gaining hands-on experience in a leading climate solutions company.

You will collaborate with a Project Manager to complete objectives within timeframes and resources, gain exposure to CPM and cost forecasting, and have the opportunity to join our Graduate Training Program

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree for the entire internship.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or have legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Some roles may be remote while others are hybrid or onsite.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and provide proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate projects, establish schedules and parameters, and set procedures for objectives.
• Collaborate with engineering to support programming and material selection.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining an operations budget and monitor forecasted cost at completion.
• Prepare sub-contractor RFQs, scope statements, milestones, and billing schedules.
• Receive and qualify subcontractor proposals and supervise project staff and installers.
• Communicate with contractors and owners to discuss scope, budgets, performance and close-out.
